Bookmarking a Page in ipMonitor

For quick access to often-used screens, ipMonitor's web-interface lets you take advantage of your web browser's capability to "bookmark" a page.

Recording the specific web address of an individual page within ipMonitor also allows you to bypass the login screen, provided your Account and Password information is stored within your web browser.

To bookmark a page in ipMonitor, proceed with the following:

  1. Access the desired page.
  2. Bookmark the page using your web browser's bookmarking process.
  3. Access the bookmark manager and edit the URL of the page you bookmarked. Change 'sid=xxxxxx&' to 'sid=challenge&'.
Additional Information

If 'nsid=true&' exists in the URL of the page, remove it while editing the bookmark. If both 'sid=challenge' and 'nsid=true' appear in the URL, ipMonitor will assume the challenge exchange has failed.
