ipMonitor's Internal Maintenance feature provides the ability to perform reoccurring maintenance actions on your ipMonitor installation. Various maintenance tasks, such as the ability to roll and archive your existing log files, allow you to better manage your available disk space.
By default, ipMonitor generates four separate log files to provide Administrators with information necessary for diagnostic and troubleshooting purposes. When the option to archive log files is enabled, ipMonitor will compress and transfer existing log files to the Zip file specified.
ipMonitor's reoccurring Internal Maintenance scheduler is hard-coded into the Maintenance Schedule list. To enable log file archiving, proceed with the following:
