ipMonitor supports the ability to clone your Monitors. This feature allows you to duplicate Monitors and all their settings, as well as any attached Tags.
Cloning your Monitors allows you to save keystrokes on complex, time consuming Monitor configuration by simply duplicating all the existing settings, then modifying only the options you need.
To clone Monitors:
The cloned Monitors will now appear in your Monitor List. They are disabled by default and have the [cloned] label applied to the Monitor Name.
If you desire consistent custom tags in every Monitor, cloning allows you to duplicate this information instantly. The importance of the Tag will remain the same upon cloning, so you can quickly discern which Monitors have important information or need further Tag configuration.
A cloned Monitor is not a member of its original Monitor's Group, only of the Global Group that encompasses all Monitors.
Credentials will not be applied to the "cloned" Monitor if the user does not have permission to use the original Credentials. When this occurs, a Monitor Tag will be created to indicate the situation.
