Quickly Disable or Enable all Monitors in a Group

When performing maintenance on your network, it can be useful to disable relevant Monitors. Disabling these Monitors prevents accidental Alerts, and prevents Alerts from restarting Services or servers prematurely.

If the Monitors within your ipMonitor installation have not been organized into several Groups, simply use the special Global Group for the following instructions.

Example

To disable all Monitors from a specfic Group:

  1. From the navigation menu in ipMonitor's Administration interface, click the Groups menu option.
  2. Place a checkmark beside the Group Name, then click the Load As Quick Filter menu option.

  1. With the list of Monitors now filtered to the Group in question, check the Monitor Name checkbox to select all Monitors in the list.

  1. Click the Disable or Enable button to disable or enable all of the selected Monitors.
