Newly created Monitors can be configured to automatically record statistics for Report generation.
In order to generate Reports, data storage must be enabled on a per-Monitor basis. By default, statistics storage is disabled for all new Monitors, allowing you to configure Reports only for the Monitors that require them. However, if you require Live Reports, Configurable Reports or Email Reports generated for most or all of your Monitors, enabling automatic report data storage lets you avoid the task of manually configuring each newly created Monitor individually.
To Automatically Store Report Data:
- Click the Settings menu option, then select Server Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Within the Optional Defaults section, place a checkmark beside the Statistics Storage label, in the Store Monitor Statistics for Recent Activity and Historical Reports checkbox.
- Click the OK or Apply button to save your changes.
Note: Enabling automatic statistics storage will cause the checkbox for storing statistical data to be checked for all new Monitors created. This setting does not affect existing Monitors.
