ipMonitor provides the ability to test SNMP-enabled devices or applications and infrastructure equipment such as bridges, hubs, switches, routers, network servers, etc.

• The SNMP Monitor tests a device's ability to respond to an information request, as well as its level of responsiveness.
• The SNMP Monitor Wizard allows you to add new SNMP - QA Monitors by browsing the contents of your SNMP-enabled network devices and applications.
• The QA Trap Monitor listens for incoming SNMP Traps, which are matched against Regular Expressions used to filter Variable Bindings data. Each incoming Trap that matches a filter will trigger an Information Alert.
• The SNMP Trap Alert sends an SNMP message on behalf of a failing Monitor. It is often used to integrate ipMonitor with other SNMP management software.

Registered customers have access to additional downloads, including an SNMP database expansion which significantly increases the number of SNMP MIBs.
