ipMonitor's Quick Filters allow you to efficiently search through hundreds or even thousands of Monitors.
This feature makes it possible to easily access and administrate a large number of Monitors in a short amount of time. You can quickly locate individual Monitors, or organize Monitors that meet a certain criteria into Groups.
The Quick Filter is conveniently located on the top bar of the Monitors List. Simply enter a case-insensitive string and basic RegEx controls into the text-box, and choose to search on a Monitor's Name, Address, Tag or ID.
To use the Quick Filter, proceed with the following:
- Log in to the ipMonitor Administration interface.
- Click the Monitors menu option.
- Type in a search parameter (in this example, 'server').
- Select a search option from the drop-down menu.
The Monitors List will automatically refresh to display only the Monitors that meet your search criteria.
To revert to the full Monitors List, or to select a previously saved Filter, use the drop-down Filter menu.
