ipMonitor's Internal Maintenance feature allows you to perform reoccurring maintenance actions, such as archiving your ipMonitor configuration settings.
When the option to archive configuration data is enabled, all your previously configured items will be backed up on a regular basis, including Monitors, Alerts, Profiles, Accounts, etc. The Credentials Database may also be archived, if a Credential is specified in the Encryption Credential field.
This process allows you to restore your configuration settings at a later date if for example, the hard drive becomes corrupted on the host machine and the software needs to be reinstalled.
