How do I Recover from a Lost Password for ipMonitor?

In the event that the current Administrator login credentials have been forgotten and current accounts cannot be altered, follow the steps below to add a new Administrator account:

  1. Run the ipMonitor Configuration program on the machine it is installed on. You can accomplish this from the Start Menu:
          Start -- Programs -- ipMonitor8 -- Configure ipMonitor 8
  2. Once the configuration program is started, select the Add Administrator Account option to add a new Administrator account.
  3. Type in the desired user name and password.

Once you exit the ipMonitor Configuration program, access the Administration interface. Enter the Accounts section from the Security menu option to edit any given account information.

Note: Administrator accounts must have unique names. Any attempt to add an Administrator account with the same user name as an existing account will be denied.
