How do I Enable / Disable ipMonitor's Audible Alarm?

While viewing Live Reports, you may choose to enable sounds and be alerted audibly when ipMonitor detects a problem. This requires a sound-enabled computer and web-browser.

To enable the audible alarm:

  1. From the Live Status screen of the Admin Dashboard, click the Settings for this Page button to display the configuration options.
  2. From the Sound if failures are showing drop-down menu, make the desired selection.

Once a sound is selected, ipMonitor will play it when a Monitor fails. To disable the alarm, ensure the Sound if failures are showing option is set to none.
