Will ipMonitor Work with a Proxy Server?

Yes. ipMonitor version 8 allows for monitoring web servers through a proxy server.

The proxy server sits between the web browser and the HTTP or HTTPS server, and intercepts all requests to the main server. It does not prevent ipMonitor from continuing to monitor critical resources.

Note: Monitoring through a proxy server will put an inherent Dependency on all your monitoring, requiring all Monitors to go through the proxy. If the proxy server goes down for any reason, its failure may trigger a number of Alerts.
