Yes. You can configure ipMonitor to send Alerts to numeric or alphanumeric pagers, as well as to cellular phones, through the use of the following Alert Types:
The Simple Beeper Alert sends a numeric message to a simple numeric pager. Messages can only be made up of numbers and spaces.
The SMS Numeric Pager: TAP Alert sends a numeric message to a device capable of receiving an SMS TAP message. Messages can only be made up of numbers, spaces, and depending on your device model and wireless provider, a few punctuation characters. Most devices will only accept simple punctuation (ie: dashes, commas, periods); accented characters and other special symbols will not display properly.
The SMS Numeric Pager: UCP Alert sends a numeric message to a device capable of receiving an SMS UCP message. Messages can only be made up of numbers, spaces, and depending on your device model and wireless provider, a few punctuation characters. The SMS Text Pager: TAP Alert sends a text message to an alphanumeric pager or digital phone with SMS/TAP support.
